SICILY. Akragas. Punic occupation, 213-211 BC. Half Shekel (Silver, 19 mm, 3.18 g, 11 h). Male head (of Triptolemos?) to right, wearing wreath of grain ears. Rev. Horse leaping right; below, 𐤇 ('h' in Punic); all within within olive wreath. Burnett, Enna 132-47. HGC 2, 172. SNG Copenhagen 378. Attractive iridescent toning. Light marks and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
